Trips
We often take the children on trips and visits to complement the curriculum and we are lucky to have our own minibuses to do this. We also welcome visitors and speakers to the school and they are greeted with great enthusiasm.
A favourite yearly invaluable residential trip for the whole school was to the adventure centre at Hind Leap Warren in the Ashdown Forest. See pictures in our gallery. In 2009 the oldest children attended a different activity centre in Pestalozzi, Hastings
In these residential experiences the children achieve personal triumphs through abseiling, rock climbing and challenging high activities under the leadership of qualified instructors accompanied by their own teachers and also learn to live and work as a team, problem-solving and relying on the cooperation of the whole group to solve a task.
