Additionally we are always looking for new fundraising ideas and would be very grateful to anyone who could help us with this - and even more grateful if you were willing to organise the event on our behalf!

Upper School Residential Trip to France
Mon 21st MayOn the 21-25 May 2012 our Upper School pupils will be going to Hardelot-Plage, Pas-de-Calais in France for their annual residential trip.
The four classes (Cedar, Lime, Beech and Redwood) will be accompanied by their class teachers and two additional members of staff for week. Whilst there they will have a fun packed itinerary including visiting the local market (where they will be able to practise their French), a visit to the local World War II museum, a visit to the ramparts and the local beach and many more exciting activities.
We are sure the children will improve their spoken French during a fun educational trip which staff and pupils alike are now greatly looking forward to.
Next Open Morning
Tue 20th MarThe next open morning is on Tuesday 20th March.
Open Mornings are very important to the school, allowing prospective pupils and their parents and families an insight into how pupils are taught and the whole character and style of the school; and of course allowing school staff to meet with you and to discuss your child's needs and issues.
Open Mornings run from 9.00 - 12.00 and include a tour, guided by older pupils, where you are able to see the classes in action, a brief presentation from the head and plenty of opportunities to discuss either openly or on a one to one basis any questions or uncertainties you may have.
Please remember though that you are still welcome to visit the school, by appointment, at any time through the school year.

Year 6 to Visit RM's Real Room
Thu 09th FebOver the next few weeks our year 6 classes, Lime and Cedar, will be visiting the Real Room at RM in Didcot to develop their ICT skills using the most up to date technology.
During the visits the children will use the green screen to be news reporters in support of their literacy curriculum. They will use the LEGO mindstorm vehicles to support their ICT control skills and they will develop their animation skills to demonstrate an area of their scientific knowledge.
